Ok so I hooked jumper cables up to my truck and
reset the computer chip and it was running fine (it
was not before) thought everything was good I
unhooked the jumper cables and it died. It has a
brand new alternator and battery. What could be
the problem?

What did you do? You do not reset a ECU with jumper cables.
