Help with overheating issue

I have an 02 dodge ram 1500 4 wheel drive that keeps
overheating, we removed the thermostat so we could get it
to the auto store and it still overheated. When the truck
overheated it locked up the breaks and steering wheel
locked up. What could be the cause of it? I've already
replaced the water pump a few months ago, done a
radiator flush, the hoses are in tact, etc. Also when I turned
on the heater to keep it cooler to get it to where I was going
it made it overheat quicker.  Help!

It was just the breaks and steering. The steering now works but it feels like the power steering fluid is out or not working, and the truck over heats and the breaks are locked up still it happened when the truck overheated.

My dodge did the same thing. We had to take most of the top part of the engine off to get to a hose that was cracked. Plus the master cylinder was loose and needed tightened. Forget the name of the hose but small hose dont cost more than 20 bucks. Plus cost of brake fluid.

    Put is antifreeze and filled it up. Then drove it in the morning . Then about around 15 minutes or 20. The truck was still overheating.
