Motor stops running?

I have a 2002 Ram 1500 5.9, It start and runs fine, then the light out comes on
and the motor shuts down. It starts back in a few minutes? Please help!!

The check engine comes on now and then but it's not on when the light out comes on and the engine stops The light out comes on and I check the headlights and tail lights but they are good. Thanks for any help!

Thats kinda weird, engine could be trying to set a code on a component going out or bad connection. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to reset the computer. If it starts all over again, your gona have to test some wires & components.
