Updated on my problem ........

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I have a update.....today I got a new Throttle Position Sensor. I changed it
along with the air filter. I checked the condition of the connectors that I could
find. (All seemed ok) Started the truck and it ran fine. I left it warm up for
about 10 minutes. I got in for a test drive and got about 2 miles and the " light
out" came on and the engine died. I stopped and checked the lights and sure
enough the tail lights were out. The head lights were on like normal. I took the
negative side off the battery and waited 10 seconds. The truck started right
up with all lights on. Drove it home and posted this msg. I hope someone can
help! Thanks

Sounds like you need integrated control module which is connected to the under hood fuse block First. I would take a real good look at the connectors under the fuse block for the fuse block. You are probably find some green corrosion their. You cann clean it but the problem will most likely return. When I find this problem. I always replace it as a whole unit
