most electronic radios require power to maintain their memory for radio presets. Usually all this requires is to scan for new stations and then program them into your radio. Many radios use the press and hold method for each of the 6 radio station buttons. Scan for a desired station, press and hold the button where you want to save it, and listen for the beep.
Thanks Markoni16 but let me explain more. The volume control stopped working properly months ago. Disconneced the battery and was fine for a couple of weeks. Then replaced battery and was fine for a couple of weeks then volume control stopped working all together. I bought a used similar factory radio and all was working fine for the first 30 minutes then lost all functions of the radio. Now all functionss work except the volume control. Am I missing some type of reset I need to perform?
Unplug each speaker in your truck you have an amp built into each speaker one shot now especially the ones up on the dash and your problem will be solved done
