2003 Camry consuming oil. >1qt every 1k miles

Greetings!  
Facts:  
2003 Toyota Camry 204k on it.  
Doesn't smoke; doesn't leak oil(on to the ground)
Coolant level is normal and clear
Check engine light on (P420 code, either oxygen sensor/ cat converter)
If it idles for a few minutes, a faint smell of oil will emerge
Appears there might be leaking occurring on the back of the engine, well
below the valve cover.  

Trying to figure out what repair will be necessary and how much. Thanks!

I would live with it as this is a high mile car. What weight oil do you use and how often do you change the oil?

thank you! 5w30 and every 5k. The previous Camry I owned had more miles and burned about 1qt every 5k.

A PCV system ......positve crankcase ventilation .....issue may be the cause.. Google your make...model...year....engine type...and find a video describing how to service this system. Get back with results.
