Engine side? Which side? Left, right, front or back of engine?

Check your coolant hoses that feed the heater core. If no obvious leaks, it could be a bad head gasket. There have also been reports of stripped out head bolts. This happened from the factory. To make sure, have your engine pressure tested. Don't take someone's word that your head gasket is bad.
