My E320 2000 sounds like the valves are rattling

The valves rattle when I accelerate

Have you tried changing the grade of fuel that you use. Might also try changing the brand of fuel and percentage of alcohol that's in the fuel as well. The lower the % of alcohol in the fuel the better it engine runs. Check a parts store they have additives that can help both the octane and the alcohol in the gas as well.
