How can I tell if my Honda is pre/post catalytic converter?

Cars and trucks had catalytic converters starting around 1978-1979.

Maybe Honda burned clean enough to not have them. Maybe some are from Canada. Maybe some are from Mexico. Maybe because the parts store computer was set up by someone who didn't know. All I know is that I had a 1979 Jeep and it was the first year that required the more expensive unleaded gas. I converted it to run on regular.
