I have a 1998 cabrio. The engines light came on. I tried seafoam n cleaning the gascap. The light went off for about 5 days, then came back on. I put it on a computer n it waif I need an o2sensor n a code p1582, which I believe is the mass-air flow sensor? Any help?

With a 1998 model, you wanna go ahead and replace that O2 sensor ASAP anyways. If you have a locking gas cap (aftermarket), that can cause air leakage into the tank and may trigger a code. Other than that, get a good analysis done and go from there.

My 1582 code came fro the throttle body. After I cleaned it, I had to have it reset with vagcom..
