2003 VW Beetle

Driving down the interstate I noticed my coolant
light. My car started smoking and I noticed the
smoke from the back of my car. Like it was going
underneath and coming out back of car. Then the
coolant light turned red. Minutes later the car shut
off. When I pulled over the car was smoking and
inside the car filled up with smoke.

It sounds like you blew a radiator hose. Don't let that light turn red next time. Hopefully you did not damage your engine.
