My 2002 Passat Wagon wont start and the alarm continues to go off. every time i lock the driver door with the key the car wont start.

I have a 2006 VW Passat. During the summer my car will start up and drive fine like nothing is wrong with it. Then maybe an hr or two later it will just stall on me. I sit for about 30 to 45 minutes and it starts back up no problem.
