Will my engine perform better after fixing mt coolant leak?

I replaced my cracked coolant flange and put in a new sensor and my engine
seems to be performing a lot better. Is it just me? Thanks!

My car runs better after I wash it. I swear it is true ;)

a proper working coolant system means the engine is not over heating or missreading so to answer your question yes it will likely be performing better.
