Intermittant quitting while driving, and hard starting after use.

Asked by speedwaymike Aug 31, 2012 at 09:23 PM about the 1991 Volvo 940 Turbo Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This Car runs great, then suddenly quits while drive
ing.  Pull over, and it starts right up.  Also, often when I stop for a short period, she will not restart until I've waited for two or three minutes, then runs great.  Replaced Crank sensor, and now it acts up more often.  Any ideas?

Check the fuel system sounds like maybe loosing fuel pressure in possibly a filter or something perhaps.

make sure to check all fuses relays and sensors if you can see if you have an ecu code and check your spark plugs to see what their looking like that can tell you some info too
