I have a 2000 volvo S40 and I lost the only key. If I purchase the key how can I get it programmed if I cant move the car?

First, I would exhaust ALL possible options in searching for that ONE Key (why do you ONLY have ONE set of keys anyway??). If that's a no -go, you have to TRY to get it towed on a flat bed trailer to the Volvo Dealer. Problem is that the transmission is locked in Park and pulling it up with the winch onto the flatbed might be a real issue is terms of damaging the trans). If you have AAA or Roadside Assistance via another plan, ask them what the best way to handle this would be under your circumstances.
