Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I accidentally left my Corolla half-on (dashboard on but engine off) while getting
gas. Is my car going to explode? Sorry for stupid question but I am not
knowledgeable about cars.

Don't use your cell phone while pumping gas. There have been instances where fires have been started.

I was not using a cell phone, and my question did not mention anything about cell phones. I live in Oregon, where everyone stays in their cars while attendants pump gas. I guess that if nothing happened immediately, it is probably not going to.
