Yes, if it is a clicking noise the actuator which moves the door from hot to cold is stripped out and needs replacement. If it is like by 2003 the dash has to come out of the vehicle to replace it. The piece of junk motor is about fifty bucks. The dealership charges around 600. Check the net there is a workaround to rig it to work.
