Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The warning light for my brakes came on. I had to
hit my brakes hard yesterday to stop from sliding
but had no issues. Now when I got into my burban
the light is on and my pedal is soft. Had this issue
once before and I slammed on my brakes issue
went away. No luck this time. Already checked
fluid and pads. Both are fine. Also checked pedal
and spring. Ideas?

Possible you blew the master cylinder. Should take and have it looked at to verify. Not safe driving this like this.
