Tie rod ends

Asked by Ronhicks7171 Feb 16, 2018 at 09:23 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 2-Door 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1996 chevy tahoe that has a 6 inch
lift (unknown manufacturer and
demensions) and I was wondering how I
would go about upgrading my ball joints
and tie rod ends to something beefier and
more heavy duty?  My front end has a lot
of slop in it.

I have not yet because the parts that need replacing are part of an after market suspension system, not factory parts. So I can't just use factory replacement kits found online. Sorry for last post I don't know what happened there.

Call them up and ask them to help identify the brand of your kit. If there is a local 4x4 shop have them take a look at it.
