Okay. Is there a lot of travel.... 'free play' in the clutch petal? It may be a simple clutch adjustment or worn out pressure plate, worst case bad transmission. But do tell..about the petal. how much travel before you feel it resisting?
None at all. I even checked oil for clutch.all is well.It goes in gear fine.No odd noises with engine,Its a v6,so its quiet. The last time I drove it was last sat,It would shift fine & go into gear, just coulnt get it to go.I was sort of thinking I had gotten ahold of some bad gas.Last night,I was leaving,& it would not move, maybe a few inches. Im at a loss..
OOOHH...I keep forgetting those are hydraulic. Even though, it sounds like the pressure plate is just not grabbing the flywheel, if it revs and does not move.
I had a transmission problem on my old Ford Ranger. The transmission gears went out. Clutch worked, but no gears would connect. I only had 4th gear and drove from Stockton Calif to Orange County on a Sunday night. The Grapevi9ne Hill was something. Passing at 50 on the shoulders to keep up the revs and speed in 4th. I have stories and nightmares. It sounds like a trans problem without any more info.
