Does the engine head require replacement required due to loose timing belt replacement?
My 2007 Cadillac STS (48K miles with all warranty performed by dealer on schedule)
engine light came on and I took it to the dealer for inquiry. The dealer replaced the
timing belt under warranty but told me that the rear cam shaft bearings were worn but
would not be covered under warranty so I would have to pay for the replacement of the
engine head. Question: wouldn't the rear cam shaft bearing wear be a direct result of
a loose timing belt?
