2007 Ram 1500

My alternator went bad so the
truck died the other night on the
way home. My husband decided
to switch out batteries on the
vehicles to try to get home, it was
dark and the cell phone light was
dim and as a result he hooked up
the battery backwards, he realized
this as soon as the horn started
sounding off! Unfortunattly this
also blew a fuse so we ended up
towed home. Changed alternator
today vut no its misfiring bad and
the code reader claims multiple
misfires! Will it work out or what
should we check next I can't
afford multiple coil packs
because this engine has many.

good possibility that the pcm was damaged by backwards connections not saying that's the case but its definitely an option. had it happen at the shop I work at on a 2010 chevy cruz
