Everyone has their own way to perform a break in. I always warm it up to operating temperature to check for leaks, then you get onto the highway, select 3rd gear and accelerate with 50% throttle all the way up to redline and engine brake down to 3000 rpm about 20 times. Change the oil and filter, then drive normally for 500 miles and change the oil. then perform normal oil changes after that. Also, only use conventional oil for the break in(no synthetic)
