you charged your own AC!? no wonder the ozone is disappearin'- if the compressor isn't comin' on, it could be a bad compressor- or a host of other things- take it to a mechanic- AC specialist- who can diagnose your problem- and charge the system correctly- and leave the guessin' to us
You probly have a decent leak which means you car wont hold a A/C charge, which inturn your low pressure switch is keeping your compressor from kicking on. It really is best to take it in and let a pro find the leak unless you have the proper equipment.

Did you follow the instructions when re-charging. Along with the low pressure switch there is a high pressure switch on most a/c systems. If you put to much refrigerant in it may be holding out the clutch. Re-connect the gauge and check the pressure. Start the vehicle and check it again. May have to bleed some out.
