how can I test a tPS in a 2002 s series

Hi do you mean the throttle position sensor right? I think it would be operating fine if you dont notice huge changes in engine revs while at idle. If its going bad like mine did you will see the engine start reving up & down fairly at a fast pace while the car is idling on its own. Hope this helps?
