Battery dead in morning, If terminals disconnected night before no problem in starting even after a week. Suburban 2007

This problem appeared a month ago but settled by itself. I just cleaned the connection
between alternator and battery then. Mechanic say either computer at fault of unresolved
leakage,

Your mechanic is correct,ecm may be drawing power,or there may be a bad wire,or short,but most of the time in my personal exprience,you check the main power source that kill,s fire to all,that would be the igintion switch.
T_S_T is right. Do you have any aftermarket electronics installed? Like alarm/remote start, stereo, dvd player or trailer brake? If they were installed poorly or incorrectly they can drain a battery as well.
