Should I purchase a new engine for my 07 Surburban?

Asked by MsPurcell Jan 30, 2018 at 04:32 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LTZ 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is it worth replacing the engine in
my truck. It's in goid shape
otherwise. It's been sitting for
about 18 months after the engine
went bad. The truck is otherwise
in good shape .

Honestly I would definitely especially if body is straight and the 4x4 drivetrain was all in good working condition when you last drove it and a used engine should be simple to find at decent price

I would. A good remanufactured engine with limited warranty might be just what you need if you don't want to go the donor route.
