why does my 94 full size blazer leak oil at back of engine

If the oil is coming from the top of the engine, it may be a bad gasket from the intake or valve covers. Very common problem in GM cars for decades. If the oil leak is from under the engine at the very rear where the transmission connects, it may be a main seal leak. This will require the oil pan be removed, the crank shaft lowered and new rear main seal be replaced. Advanced mechanic job for this baby.
