What would make my 1994 3.4 camrro take off slow than gets a little better as I speed up

thought this one had a distributor,and it would need advanced a tweek

a map sensor controls a non distribertor type system to adjust its 4"x2" with vac.hose to it on firewall

that engine been around a while ,cooling problems sometimes so treat cooling right if needed like too old antifreeze,remove, and water pump lube isgood ,parts shop will run a scan free anytime you may know already
