i have a 94 camaro rs...came stock as v6..bt has had an engine swap with a LT1.the car goes in R bt not on D.i want to know wat tranny can i use that will match the motor yet fit in the camaro?

If your LT1, PCM and wire harness are all 94 also, and assuming the PCM and Wire harness for the LT1 are also for and automatic car, then go with a 4L60E, Its fully electronic and the easiest way to go. you can also go with a TH350,TH400, but you'll need a 4000pulse per mile, vehicle speed sensor, which plugs inline with your speed cable. Also go with 700R4 or 2004R, which are nice cause they got overdrive, but you'll also have to connect the torque converter lock up solenoid for better fuel economy. Refer to LT1swap.com for wiring diagrams.
