Starting problems

Asked by Cmblsis Jul 26, 2016 at 01:08 AM about the 2007 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 dodge durango  is having problems
starting. When you trun the key it will keep
cranking until it catches and it will running fine. But
it takes it like 30 to 40 sec to catch. Will I need to
replace the starter or is it something else? Thanks
for any help

Try connecting it to a battery pack. If it still takes just as long to start I would say def get the starter checked out. If not, then maybe battery... alternator... etc.
