Brake line may be collapsed, or you got a bad caliper. Also, always change the brake hardware when doing a brake job.

My G6 is doing the same thing and pads, rotors, calipers are new. Just got home and it is locked up again and was smoking when I got out? Going to replace brake line now to see if that helps and tomorrow I will. E at the dealership trading it. I am tired of the issues.

I had a bad ABS unit - the brake would lock - if you crack the bleeder it would release (not the caliper) and pumped all new fluid through so not lines - but was still locking - new ABS unit anywhere form 200-800 depends on what you need - i got a used one and crossed my fingers
