There are so many variables. # 1. Labor estimate of the garage for the repairs. # 2. Cost of the replacement parts. There are normal, good, better, best, and top line products to chose from. Some are just fluff or paint added to look neat, but no difference in the product. Some are made with better lasting materials and cost more to make. # 3. If into the repairs and more items need replacement, it will cost more. (Some unscrupulous garages will tell you you need more parts replaced when it is not so, these are dishonest, but will run up you bill. The best is to go on line to a well know parts replacement order business, look up the parts for a cost estimate. This will give you a good ball park figure, then you will know to ask why a $100.00 starter is costing $175.00 from the garage. (example). Next check on normal labor rates of the garages. Do your homework. This will not only give your answer, but will give you peace of mind you are not getting ripped off.
