Intermittent starting, now it does, now it doesnt

Car wouldn't start, quiet hum, went out an hour later and it has started 3 times now, any ideas

Check the fuel pressure,may be fuel pump going bad.

fuel pump relay can, now it does, now it don't . making clean relay point contact for currant flow

Thank you so much, just got this off craigslist, being female its horrible, going for diagnostics on Tues, right now it starts but it scares me, I live out in the country and don't know anyone here, Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me
