Start by figuring out why it's getting hot. Is there coolant? Is it leaking at all?
Check the coil packs. They don't like to be overheated! Hope that helps! Jim

I ask where the coolant leak is because if you blew the head or something...
Spray a little starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on that. If not and you know for sure you have spark, do a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero it's jumped timing. Hope that helps! Jim
