Could it be a air flow sensor or bad gas or did I over fill the tank

3.8ls are extremely sensitive with fuel usage. even quarter tanks worth of bad gas are enough to get them to run like garbage. but seafoam in the tank and that should help.

I have a 1990 Buick Century with the 3.3 engine and when I fill up the car cranks fine, takes off fine, then about 2 miles up the road it starts cutting out. It usually stops in 2 to 3 more miles. It may or may not do it again for a few days. When gauge gets back down below 3/4 of a tank...it will not do it again at all. I always fill up at 1/2 tank. When it cuts out it does it on acceleration or no acceleration and fills like it is running out of gas. You can put in neutral while coasting give it gas and it will not cut out. It seems to be getting worse though. Sometimes now when I pull in at home and stop it will die before I cut switch off. I have tried Seafoam and other things, but it baffles me that it only does it over 3/4 tank of gas. Any ideas to help?
