How do I relearn the anti theft system in my 2002 Buick LeSabre

I thought it would come out more clearly than that. Sorry, I tried to put it in sort of a "bullet" format, but clearly that didn't work. Maybe write it down if it helps. Lol

I think you have the "Passlock III" system. Having a hard time posting on here so bare with me. step 1. Insert the master key with the black head into the ignition lock cylinder.

Step 2. Turn the key to ON but do not start the engine. The SECURITY light will turn on and stay on.

Step 3. Wait 10 minutes or until the SECURITY light turns off.

Step 10. Turn the key to OFF. The key transponder will be learned on the next start cycle.

Step 11. Start the vehicle. If it starts and runs normally, the relearn is complete.

If you have more than one key, you have to do this for EACH key. UGH! Redundant I know! Hope this works and helps!
