Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I lost 3&4 gear in transmission I swapped out
transmission some one 4l60e an my truck ran
perfect before swap out, I swapped transmission
and went to fire the truck up an the starter didn't
disengage, I broke off both transmission the
neutral reverse safety switch, so I replaced it well
when I did that it stopped the problem of the
starter not disengaging, but now I have a problem
of the truck I started and it ran for a few seconds
and stalled out I changed cap, rotor, the switch on
transmission, I changed out ignition switch from
steering wheel under the dash, I hear fuel pump
running but have not checked pressure, I did check
spark an found out I have spark only to 2 out of 6
wires, but I really don't think I'm getting anything to
the distributor, I have coil pack have not changed
yet but I am in need of help ASAP I am missing
hours at work an my wife has lost her job bc of
both having this truck running, any help through
this site or text me something 248-972-7205 I'm
desperate now thanks for helping If u can

Are both connectors on the distributor plugged in and in good shape? I've seen them get damaged if the motor rocks back too far. Make sure no wires are pinched in the bellhousing. Getting access to a code reader should help narrow it down a bit.

I didn't think about pinched wires between bellhouse but crank shaft sensor is plunger in, I don't know if I will be able to get a hold of a scanner to grab any codes but it makes me mad bc all I did was swap transmission, but I will look to see if I have wires pinched, an try an find scanner thanks for the tip
