Time for a tune up. Fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires, PCV valve and maybe a fuel pressure regulator?

I did that more than once already couldnt explain all I did it didn't give me Enough space, did also sensors , tbi rebuild including injectors. Can you explain fuel pressure regulator?

Do you have a catalytic converter on your truck? If so it could be plugged? Fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel line before the injectors. Not to be a smart butt here but, it regulates the fuel pressure while the truck is running. It also keeps pressure in the fuel line while the truck is off so the pump won't have to prime the fuel line every time you start up your truck.

Oh geez don't feel dumb. Easily overlooked. Check out the regulator, if that isn't it look at the converters.

i have a 95 chevy c1500 v8 200k plus miles. new battery. seems to short out and die, and wont restart. when key is turned on the amp gauge barely moves up. ive tried fumbling with the obvious wires (+ - wires etc) with no change. its done this once before. i let the truck sit for about a month then bought a new batt and problem went away. today while driving it died, with the same symptoms. also ive notice that when driving the blinkers make the amp gauge fluctuate down with every flash. thanks in advance for response 11 Answers

I need help bad. My truck us a Chevy 1500 1995 and if I drive about 30 miles or so and hit a red light and go to hit the gas. I'll have the peddle to the floor and it will start off slow then out of no where kick in and speed up. And if I'm going down the high way and the cruise control is on and I'm going up a hill it will do that. Throttle slow then kick in and speed up. so the other day i moved my 1997 chevy k1500 in my driveway and put my plow on then let it run for a while. I came bacj to it about 30 mins later and it was dead. I tried to crank it but got nothing. after going over everything replacing coil icm ecm crank sensor cam sensor plugs wires complete distributer from cap to oil pump . I have spark but when it it reaches distributer i get no spark to wires. Any ideas? I have never seen this before, im at a loss, please help!! 7 Answers
