I would offer that the schematics can be read at autozone.com They are specific by year and options. I recently tried to find a cause for one close to that year and found it can take a few pages taped together to make a legible schematic to read. If your fuses are good and your under the hood inline fuses by the heater case are good, try verifying power to and from your lightswitch to be sure for that part of it before replacing parts. inspect your bulbs and sockets for correct assembly and verify a good ground. A 12v test light is low cost at parts or hardware stores for like 4 bucks. I just go around the rig with the right tool inserted in the drill and pull them all that are acting up and check the previous installation, then if tests lead there they are exposed for testing. when you follow the schematic, it shows where power and ground MUST come from for you to verify.
