So you changed a few parts that we not associated with the leak and smoke. Let's start there. What fluid is leaking and from where? What color was the smoke? White? Maybe you have a coolant leak or you have a possible oil leak. The car shut down. Maybe from coolant on the electrical components or oil was so low the engine locked up? Did you check the oil level? Also the fuel pump not priming? Did you check the fuel pressure with a gauge yet? Did you inspect the wiring and test to see if you are getting 12V to the fuel pump?
