2007 rear passenger carpet wet after rain, ?

Noticed a damp smell inside car which orompted me to check under the car mats, upon
doing so I felt the carpet , front and back and only the rear passenger side was soaking
wet, I placed a towel there to absorb the water for approx a week, it started drying then it
rained again and back to the inital problem, not sure hiw long this has been going on.

If you have a sunroof your drains may have gotten plugged. If you live in the south and run the A/C all of the time, your A/C drain tube is probably plugged with dirt. This will cause the A/C water to drain inside the car instead of out underneath it. Also check out this old post for more info. http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-c4006_ds569369
