Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife rented a Corolla on her vacation and fell in love with the mileage, she's driving a 1999 Lexus RX300. So I'm looking at used Toyota Camry's because she wants a power seat and I hoping the mileage will be similar.

I use to own a 2007 4-cyl. Camry SE and my mother drives a 2007 RX330, so I know a little about both. The Camry is rated decently for mileage (25/35), but I never got more than 30mpg is everyday, practical driving. 25-30 was the norm. The Camry is easy to drive like the RX, and I got very similar mileage in the RX when I drove it. I just sold my Camry for a Prius C and even though the it doesn't have power seats, I would highly recommend a hybrid (either the Camry hybrid or the Sonata hybrid, one of the most comparable to the Camry and also highly rated) if she wants noticeably better fuel economy.

We just got a 2008 Camry Hybrid and are loving it so far. 39 miles per gallon first thankful. Very nice ride and well equipped.
