what is the difference between I4 engine versus V6 engine

I like to understand the difference between I4 versus V6 engines

4 Cylinder) Less power/ better fuel mileage/ lower cost of some engine repairs vs. the V6.. Doesn;t pick up as well. 6 cylinder) A little more power/ uses more fuel/ Repairs like tune up's coils, and intake gaskets will cost a little more: Water pump's leaking in V6 cCamry's are common/ You'll get more pep on the gas pedal with a V6

the 4 is the number of pistons the more the bigger the engine,cars have,, some 3 some 12 maby even a 16 at one time. the I is straight up and down the v is pistons on each side in a v leaning down to the crankshaft ,the main turning apperattimus that turns everything connected to it soon your bycicle, your legs are pistons, peddles the crank ,that turns something
