1991 chevy caprice

My gas gauge and tps not working. I had a 1991 b4
and rebulit the motor, the dash caught on fire so I
found another car same year and motor. Upon
switching the gas gauge worked but now its not
working. I bought a brand u sending unit pump and
all together had a guy put it in now its not working.
I check the fuses inside the car but all good. The
guy said he grounded it right and it was my
instrument cluster so Iam lost please help me out

See the purple wire at sending unit for fuel gage, that wire is voltage with key on, use a test lite and check for voltage on that wire. If no voltage, could be wiring circuit or instrument cluster gage.
