If it is the Dual Mass you can feel a pulse (rather than a vibration) when you depress the clutch about an inch from the top. You will also hear a 'whizz' after the starter motor has thrown. This is because as the DMF breaks up, iron filings stick to the starter (as it acts as a huge magnet). This makes the starter slip. If it has started doing this get it sorted as soon as possible as failure is imminent. Jag will charge you £1200 (I got mine done for £595 - so shop around). Oh, and if it is the DMF make sure you change the starter too - even if the garage says it looks fine (it isn't). However, it sounds more like a wheel bearing or even a tyre problem if you can feel the vibration through the wheel - so it could be a cheap fix. Let us know more detail or how you get on.
