2000 saab 93 car thinks key is still in ignition and leaves lights (etc) on, is there a fuse to pull to make the car think key is out, what is longer term fix? Can u wire around the key ?my 4th issue

Asked by Liana_360 Sep 22, 2014 at 09:11 AM about the 2000 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had four or more issues with this
key.  I'd live to wire around it or make
my own manual switch to stop this.
Unless there's better solution

If its just your "daytime running lights" that are on then yes there is a fuse.It should be fuse number 15 on the fuse panel thats exposed when you open the drivers door. However, if your radio and accessorys are on then I would say you need a new ignitioin switch.
