cologne diffuser

Asked by pashas Mar 16, 2019 at 06:15 PM about the 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i just bought a 2004 saab arc convertible. i love it but the previous and only
owner of the car had, i believe, some type of scented diffuser installed that
reeks of horrible cologne from the dash vents every 10 -15 minutes or so. i
need to find a way to have this removed, or else i must sell this car. the smell is
insufferable. i have consulted 2 car mechanics familiar with swedish vehicles
and they look at me like i've lost my mind. any helpful imput is appreciated.

There is a filter under the hood that feeds air to the blower motor making reek of a smell you will want to change it under the windshield wiper on the passenger side there's a panel open it you will see the filter
