Remote won't unlock my car

Can somebody please answer my ? My remote to my 2004 Saab linear won't unlock my car what must I do help me please

Replace the battery in the remote and if that doesn't work, you may have worn out the unlock button from using it so much in this 14 year old car. I hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that the car's battery might be dead and you may be able to unlock the car using the key.

Maybe key out of sync with the transponder .....stand close by the car and press the remote's UNLOCK button 5 times in quick succession, that should re-sync the key, assuming that mis-sync was your issue .... is the battery ok ? Change it and try re-sync again. Simple fix, worth a try

Just had this issue with my Saab. I took the key out and unlocked the car door manually. The alarm went off but stopped once I turned the car on. Seemed to reset the car, but it may be too soon to tell. Key is working fine now. I hope this helps whoever comes across this!
