my saab 2005 blower wont turn on anyone any ideas

The HVAC blower motor usually has a resister control the lower speeds. The highest speed is a full 12 volts. You may have a fuse blown if the motor is not working at all. The other common cause of no blower motor is that the brushes wear down to the point that they hang up in the brush holders. Usually the bushings are shot by then and a replacement motor is recommended.

thankyou for the answer i have tried the motor and it works ok and somtimes comes on intermitently for a short while then not at all dont know why
